Coding for young children?
Coding, just like any other language, is learned best at a young age. The main challenge is how to explain abstract mathematical concepts like axis, parameters and variables to young children. Scratch, a programming language that was developed by MIT Media Lab rises to this challenge. Scratch is based on “drag and drop” and uses colorful animation to help illustrate difficult concepts. This way it opens a door to the wonderful world of code for young children.

How we teach?
Our live online program “Start from Scratch” is designed to introduce the foundations of coding to kids aged 8-9, in a teacher-led classroom. One of our classroom goals is to give children the experience of success and confidence through working on different projects. During the course they will get to know the Scratch learning environment, create games, stories, videos and finally share their projects in the Scratch community.
